Employment Tips
Well, the wheels have been set in motion. Our deposit for the Ghostship custom cycling clothing has been submitted, proofs are in, and we're waiting. Thanks to everyone who put money down for some sweet new gear. If you know anyone who missed the first chance for a deposit, the window is still open for a short time. Tell 'em to drop that donut and get on it!
Outside of our regular, boring custom clothing updates, there are bike races happening. The Giro de Italia has been the most excited race that I've seen in several years. The Tour of California is wrapping up as I type, another good race that's still anyone's race. A little more locally, Mike Stock just put the wraps on a weekend of pointing things downhill up @ Plattekill in NY. We're waiting on results and his race report. Dougy Fresh is gearing up for the Trans-Sylvania Epic in the coming week. We're sure he'll have stories to trump stories.
The screen-printing press has been warmed up and is keep busy.(I wanted to post the image but the interwebs won't let me). Click here for the image. We collaborated with our friend Illus to come up with a nice, 4-color, hand-screened shirt for CT Comiconn. There was a pretty good turn out, and if you missed out, here's a little vid to make you feel like you were there:
And finally, to all of our friends who were recently unemployed, and are finding themselves falling back into the abyss of employment, I will leave with with this sage advice:
