Yikes.

Dougy-fresh narrowly avoided being squashed on his bike this morning whilst simply trying to ride to work. When all was said and done, he was ok, only a few scrapes, and got the guy to pay for his bike's damages, and drive him home. Not too shabby. Glad you're ok buddy! There's lots of riding to be had this season, no fun getting whacked by cars.

Over dinner tonight, the conversation got kinda funny:

Doug: The guy couldn't drive for shit anyway.
Me: Oh yeah?
Doug: Yeah, I was pressed up against the door while he was driving me home. Really scary.

Funny ha-ha, not funny weird. In case you were keeping score. But this is not so much funny:

Dinner conversation turned to a few different subjects, like old snowboard equipment (Burton CFX bindings), recent rides, and the upcoming Ghostship kits. Oh shit! What? That's right. Ghostship kits are almost finished. We're tightening up the design pages, crossing the T's and erasing errant pencil marks. Right now we're shopping custom companies in an effort to find the best balance between affordability and quality. When designs are finalized we'll post them up here with a listing of options available, tentative pricing and more details. Keep checking back!
