Well, happy belated New Year. So far this winter hasn't been a total wash out. There have been some great days to ride, and not-so great and a bunch in between. We hope you've all had the chance to get some rides in. Or make some art. Or record some music. All fun stuff.
Our man Dougy-Fresh got some SERIOUS pre-season prep taken care of. And by serious we mean surgery. He mentions is in a brief section of his blog here: "for I was still fresh off surgery on my sinuses (about 2 weeks out... yeah, started 2010 with a doctor's visit, but it was planned). Temperatures finally rose above freezing (got to maybe 40*F that day) so I figured my sinuses wouldn't be that sensitive. I was wrong. The air hurt as I would breathe." During one of our phone convo's he mentioned what a big difference there was in just being able to breathe regularly (once he got the horrible packing taken out of his face). *note, this is not Doug. Just some poor dude getting his nostril abused.
So we're stoked that Doug is recovered, the surgery went well, and that he's positively going to terrorize everyone at his races this year. It's basically like super-charging and already finely tuned engine. Nutty.
Mike Stock wrote us a note about what he's been up to lately: "class forevvvvverrr". Well said Mike, well said.
Other than that, we're got our proverbial irons in a couple of fires at the moment. We're in process of putting the wraps on about 3-4 new designs, which will hopefully be available for pre-order in the near future. Keep riding, and here's to warmer weather sooner than later.
