Stock Kills It!

Congrats to our team rider Mike Stock who in a last minute decision to race, took 5th of 15 in some late-season downhilling up @ Plattekill this past weekend! Nice job Mike! Vegas, Here We Come!

So another trip to sunny Los Vagrants is upon us! Matt and a few of the Ghostship Collective are traveling to Sin City for the Interbike tradeshow. Matt and Collective member Tony Tyrant will be racing at the CrossVegas CX race on Wednesday night. Check it here for details. The vicious rumor going round is that Lance may make an appearance in the same race as Matt and Tony. We'll see. If you're in the area, be certain to stop by. Matt's got a special kit planned for the race. Guaranteed to be the best dressed rider there!

If you're in Vegas for the show and see the boys, please take a minute to swing by and say hello. They'd love to talk to you. Matt will have a small selection of sample Gship shirts for sale or trade if something strikes your fancy. Good times are sure to ensue. Stalk Much?.....

Hey all...we added a little widget over there on the sidebar. Now you can lurk/stalk Matt to your heart's content as he travels to the Interbike Show out in Las Vegas next week and as he races cross this season. Not to mention other random, assorted bits of nonsense he does in his downtime. So have fun with it and check back often for updates!

Everyone, Meet F-Train...

...Everyone, this is Fritz. He rides bikes. Fast. He terrorizes. A lot. We could go on...but he can probably explain what he's all about better than we can:



Name- Fritz Wisor
DOB- 12/5/76
Born- Geneva NY
Resides- Santa Rosa, CA- Sonoma Co.
Races- SS Cross country and endurace, and some CX and Road stuff to mix it
up.
Background- Started BMXing as a kid, and got into racing from there.
First MTB was a GT Timberline, fully ridgid, about 28 lbs, with plastic
pedals, reflectors and 18 speeds. First sweet MTB was an Ibis Mojo, about
'92 or so, I still have it. It is an awesome stock trials bike!

And while we don't want to give away all his racing secrets, here are some of his pointers for you. Pay attention. You could learn a thing or two:

Racing tactic-
1- Go out fast and completely implode.
2- Forget water, and race 'dry' to give the other guys a chance
3- Be nice and courteous, with ample excuses as to your poor placing at
the finish line.
4- Consume beer.
5- Repeat step 4.

F-Dub does a lot of good in his community as well. "Other interests- Do cyclists get to have a life off the bike?
