Back...dead.
We're back from Vegas....and feel like death warmed over. We'll be hibernating for the rest of the evening, possibly weekend. Gotta flush out our livers and nap a bit. We'll have some photos and stories to share within the next couple days so stay tuned.

In Case You Forgot...
We're gonna be outta the 'office' this week. Starting tomorrow. We'll be @ Interbike in Las Vegas, in the middle of the desert. If you order anything or send us emails, they won't be answered til Sat at the earliest. Don't take it personal. We've got things to destroy, parties to terrorize and stickers to paste up. We're gonna be busy...hope you'll be busy too. If you find yourself in the desert with the rest of us, feel free to stop by and say hello. We've got free stickers....and cookies!

New Stickers!
The new stickers are in! We did another run of the small 'Unoriginal' design and the infamous 'Indy' design, as well as a brand-new 'Spatter-Ship' design, much like the banner at the top of the page. The Spatter sticker is pretty much your standard bumper sticker size: 8.5" x 2.75". Ask nicely in Vegas and we'll hook you up. Otherwise, free stickers are included with every order. Oh yeah, we're restocked with a full size run of Ship hoodies. Any orders placed before Sunday 9/23 will ship out Monday, 9/24. Anything ordered Monday 9/24 will ship out when we return from 'the hot' next week. Thanks for all of your support! See you in Vegas!
PS-The boys from Swobo posted this up on myspace. Looks like another evening of complete terror and mayhem...:

Vegas baby....
We're going to Las Vegas next week for the great big international bicycle trade show, dubbed Interbike. We'll have free stickers to pass out (just ask nicely) and a small batch of shirts for sale. Hope to see some of you there!
Here's a photo of team rider Doug Jenne (on the left) on the podium as the 2nd overall single-speeder in the National Ultra-Endurance mountain bike series. He's at the Shennandoah 100 in this particular shot. Great job Doug! Word has it, he's added some new toys to his rig and dropped a solid two pounds of static weight! Watch out. As if he wasn't fast enough! Although, for the next podium photo Doug, we may have to custom make you some Ghostship shorts so we can get in on the photo op!

Ghostship Team Kicks Ass!
Congrats to Gship team rider Doug Jenne. He raced in the Shenandoah Mountain 100 this past weekend. A 100mi mountain bike race for those who don't know. He finished 17th out of 60+ singlespeed racers and 101st overall out of 400+! And it was enough to lock down 2nd place overall for the Singlespeed category of the 2007 National Ultra Endurance MTB Series. Here's an excerpt of his race report:
10hours 7minutes 14sec (just shy of my goal of a sub-10hr finish)
41minutes faster than last year (and on a rigid fork this year -vs- suspension last year)
17th singlespeed finish out of 60+
101st overall finish out of 400+
12,000 to 14,000 ft of climbing in 100miles
1 flat tire
1 loose water bottle cage
1 blister the size of a half dollar in my right palm
1 warped brake rotor due to excessive heat
1200mg Ibuprofen for lower back spasms
5 Gu gels
6 Endurolyte pills
4 flasks of Perpetuem
10 bottles of Accelerade
NO cramping
solid levels of strength the whole day
34x20 was my gear ratio of choice for the day
Great job Doug! Now get ready to destroy for cross season!
